Amanat Lebuhraya Rakyat Bhd (ALR) reaches a mutual agreement with several highway concessionaires related to warranty claims by ALR.

This agreement includes Kesas Holdings Berhad (Kesas Holdings), Sistem Penyuraian Trafik KL Barat Holdings Sdn Bhd (SPRINT Holdings) and Lingkaran Trans Kota Holdings Berhad (LITRAK Holdings).

Through a filing with Bursa Malaysia recently, Gamuda reported that Kesas will accept claims pertaining to survey fees and vehicle replacements equals to RM1.25 million from the non profit private firm.

Regarding ALR's claim on land-related matters, Kesas also agrees to collaborate with Gamuda on resolving issues with the government under concession agreement terms. From there, ALR must retain a sum of RM960K while agreeing to waive any interest payable by ALR on said amount.

On the similar agreement with ALR, Sprint will be issued with RM2.02 million that involves final survey fees for right of way gazette, replacement of police expressway mobile patrol vehicles and enhancement of RFID lanes.

Litrak, however, will be paying claims worth RM1.65 million under similar terms as Sprint’s excluding the right of way gazette survey fees.
