- Final Volkswagen ID.7 Teaser Unveiled Ahead of Global Debut
Ahead of its global debut, Volkswagen has revealed the final teaser for the ID.7. This all-electric saloon will spearhead the marque’s new EV line-up, comprising of up to 10 models, all set to be launched by 2026.
This final teaser consists of two videos, showcasing the sneak peek of both the ID.7’s interior and exterior parts.

Starting off with the latter, the exterior teaser video reveals the ID.7’s headlights design, which looks somewhat similar with other ID models, featuring trapezoidal-shaped headlights unit with LED DRL strip that runs across the car’s width. And just like other ID models, said LED light bar is splitted by a sizable VW logo at the centre.

Moving to the side part, the short clip showcases that the ID.7 comes with illuminated door handles, plus the dual-tone wheel with similar spoke design as the ID.Buzz. Elsewhere, the ID.7 will sport the similar looking IQ.light taillights, just like other ID models.

For the interior sneak peek, the ID.7 is shown to have an ambient lighting system on the door cards and front dash. There’s also a sizable floating infotainment screen the crowns above the front dash, plus the similar-looking steering wheel unit as the rest of ID lineups.

The bright-hued front seats, on the other hand, feature substantial side bolstering, with ‘ID.’ logo embroidered on them. Topping off the interior setup is the Harman Kardon sound system that the car harnesses, promising superior audio quality in this new ID model.

Prior to this teaser, the ID.7 previously made its first public appearance in CES 2023, draped in digital camouflage. Based on the ID.Aero concept, the ID.7 reportedly will harness the same MEB platform as other ID models, which grants it up to 200 kW charging capacity and maximum travel range of up to 700 KM.

Though no details were revealed on the ID.7’s battery capacity, the car will harness the new APP550 electric drive unit that delivers 282 HP (210 kW) and 550 NM.

The Volkswagen ID.7 will make its global debut later today (Apr 17, 2023), where it will set a “further milestone on its path to offering a purely electric model range.” Volkswagen claims their new EV lineup, headlined by the ID.7, will be the “widest electric range of all manufacturers in Europe”.
