Local on-demand mobility-as-a-service platform GoCar has inked a partnership with TotalEnergies Marketing Malaysia to launch online-to-offline (O2O) vehicle services in Malaysia. This partnership sees GoCar partnering with renowned lubricants brand TotalEnergies in providing customers with premium lubricants, plus the expertise from the GoCar Garage network.

Speaking during the partnership signing event, TotalEnergies Marketing Asia Pacific Middle East vice president Vincent Minard said, “At TotalEnergies, we have been at the forefront of driving digital innovation to offer greater value to our customers. Collaboration with GoCar Garage via GoCar app is in line with our focus to deliver quality lubricants through our partner workshops, directly to customers.”

This strategic partnership is in line with TotalEnergies’ drive for more digitalisation in their services, which can be further accelerated via GoCar app’s extensive digital platform, allowing both brands to widen their customer reach and service networks.

TotalEnergies’ Quartz Auto Services servicing programme will be integrated into GoCar’s app, where customers can now send their vehicles for servicing, using premium TotalEnergies lubricants and other products at any GoCar Garages nearby.

Through this strategic partnership, GoCar aims to open up to 200 locations nationwide by the end of this year.

TotalEnergies Oceania and South-East Asia operations director Aimeric Ramadier commented, “TotalEnergies is excited to partner with GoCar Garage as customer centricity is a priority for both companies. We are looking forward to expanding our collaboration with GoCar in other business areas to deliver even more added value to Malaysian auto customers.”

Meanwhile, GoCar president Nicholas Tan said that the firm “believes that the market is ripe for a new way of servicing a car, especially for off-warranty vehicles. One that is more convenient and affordable and at trusted service centres.”

“This alliance with TotalEnergies will increase the availability of our seamless and transparent GoCar Garage services nationwide,” the president added.

Beyond the car rental services, GoCar app also provides a seamless end-to-end car maintenance service. With an extra emphasis on transparency, customers can schedule appointments, select specific services for their vehicles, while being given price quotation for the services before they have to pay for it.

More so, customers living within the Klang Valley area can also opt for the GoValet door-to-door delivery service for better convenience and saving more time.

The TotalEnergies Quartz Auto Services is now available for booking via GoCar mobile app, available on all smartphone platforms.
