SDAC Announces Ford Raya Promotion

Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC), the sole distributor for Ford in Malaysia, announces a raya campaign that runs from April 1 to May 31, 2023. The offer is in conjunction with the 15th anniversary of Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC) as well as hari raya celebration.

It will be available for only a limited number of units for both models, on a first-come, first-served basis. "This two-year service promotional campaign aims to offer more value-add to Ranger XL double cab and XL customers. For all our loyal Ford customers whose warranty has expired, we have you covered with an aftersales promotion, which is currently running until May 31, offering 10% discounts on selected parts,” said Turse Zuhair, managing director, Sime Darby Auto ConneXion-Ford.

"To everyone travelling during the festive break, do stay safe on the road. Make sure your Ford vehicle is serviced and in tip-top condition before heading out,” he added. The Ranger XL double cab (AT and MT) and Ranger XLT are powered by Ford's 2.0-litre single-turbo diesel engine, which produces 170ps and 405Nm of torque. Both the Ranger XL double cab and XLT now have four drive modes as standard: Normal, Eco, Tow/Haul, and Slippery.

Both models benefit from the 50mm track and wheelbase increase, as well as a high level of integrated technology comparable to the rest of its higher-priced siblings, including the huge first-in-class 10.1-inch touchscreen with Ford Sync 4A and a reconfigurable eight-inch colour digital instrument panel. The Ranger XLT is priced in Peninsular Malaysia at RM129,888 and in Sabah and Sarawak at RM135,388. Meanwhile, the price of the Ranger XL double cab manual in Peninsular Malaysia is RM108,888 and RM114,888 in Sabah and Sarawak.

The automatic model costs RM113,888 in Peninsular Malaysia and RM119,588 in Sabah and Sarawak. All Ranger customers in Malaysia will be automatically enrolled in the Ford Inner Circle, a community of like-minded people who enjoy pushing boundaries and exploring new horizons, giving back to society, or going on excursions like the Ford Ranger Getaways with friends and family.
