GoCar Malaysia, has announced the addition of newer models of electric vehicles (EVs) to the GoCar Subs Electric line-up, which can now be booked on weekly and monthly basis. With the expansion of the range and shortening of the subscription plans term, GoCar aims to make it easier and more affordable for Malaysian consumers to experience life trying out different EVs.

The GoCar Subs Electric fleet currently includes seven full-electric cars, which includes the Nissan Leaf, the latest Renault Zoe, the Hyundai Kona EV, the Hyundai Ioniq 5, the GWM Ora Good Cat, the Mini Electric, and the Tesla Model Y.

Consumers can try out a variety of EV models through the shorter weekly and monthly subscription options which begin at RM120 per day for the monthly plan and RM171 per day for the weekly plan. Rates are determined by the subscription fee and the obligatory Collision Damage Waiver (CDW).

Wong Hoe Mun, CEO of GoCar Malaysia further added that, “We believe Malaysians are curious about EVs but many are apprehensive about having to use it as their primary mode of transportation. With our new weekly and monthly subscription options, we are calling more people to ‘Experience Electric’ with GoCar Subs. They can test a range of EVs in their daily commute or for short trips, assess the EV charging experience and discover if the EV lifestyle is for them.”
