The Perak Road Transport Department (JPJ) has collected nearly half a million ringgit from its auction of seized vehicles. State JPJ director Mohammad Yusoff Abustan said the auction of 41 vehicles, including cars, vans, and motorcycles, at its branch here on Tuesday (May 23), netted them RM487,750. Mohammad Yusoff stated that 35 of the vehicles were still roadworthy, while the remaining six were scrapped.

"The lowest amount was RM50 for a motorbike," he stated on Tuesday (May 23).
"Successful bidders must complete the transfer of ownership within seven days of the auction day," he said, adding that 47 people participated.
