Sample the Trition Athlete's off-road abilities first-hand in the Mitsubishi Triton Champion Xperience!

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) is hosting a unique off-road test-drive carnival this weekend, and it’s open to the public with free admission. Called the Mitsubishi Triton Champion Xperience, it takes place at Tanamera Experience, Shah Alam on June 24 (Saturday) and June 25 (Sunday) from 9AM to 6PM.

Aptly, this unique off-road test-drive carnival is centered on the Mitsubishi Triton pick-up truck model, specifically its range-topping Athlete variant. MMM further notes that the event was inspired by the Mitsubishi Triton model’s recent victory in the Asia Cross Country Rally (AXCR) event too.

The event features special off-road test-drive course and a high-speed rally demo taxi ride.

Central to this event is of course the range-topping Mitsubishi Triton Athlete.

Notably, visitors will get to experience the Triton Athlete’s high performance and all-terrain capabilities during this event through specially curated activities. It includes an off-road test-drive course with an instructor, as well ‘taxi rides’ through a special high-speed rally demo course too.

According to MMM, both experiences allow visitors to experience the Triton’s Super-Select 4WD II suite and first-in-class ‘off-road mode’ available. Said all-terrain driveline tech is a signature of the famed Japanese tri-diamond marque, and features dedicated Gravel, Sand, Muddy, and Rock drive modes too.

Faithful replicas of the Triton and Xpander AXCR rally cars are on display during this carnival.

Also on display are heritage homologation specials like the Lancer Evo VI Tommi Mäkinen Edition (left) and the Pajero Junior (right)

Besides said driving activities, the Mitsubishi Triton Champion Xperience also sees faithful replicas of the Triton and Xpander AXCR rally cars on display. On show alongside them too are notable heritage special models like the Pajero Junior kei class 4x4 and the Lancer Evolution VI Tommi Mäkinen Edition.

CariCarz.com had the opportunity to participate in an early press preview session of the event earlier today. Certainly, this is an event that keen prospects eyeing the Triton pick-up truck wouldn’t want to miss. Take note, the event also features a comfortable air-conditioned marquis where food and beverage is catered.

Keen to attend and participate? Attendees only need to register online first via the dedicated Mitsubishi Triton Champion Xperience microsite that’s also accessible via MMM’s official website.

Notably, early bird registrations will be rewarded with an exclusive event tee-shirt, RM20 Touch ‘n Go reload pins, as well as entry into a special lucky draw that features a North Face BARDU II bag amongst its prizes.

The Mitsubishi Triton Champion Xperience takes place at Tanamera, Shah Alam this weekend.

Additionally, customers who place bookings for the Triton pick-up truck during the Mitsubishi Triton Champion Xperience event will also enjoy exclusive promotional offers on it that lasts until June 30. They will receive a free gift in the form of a premium Stanley lifestyle tumbler.

As a refresher, MMM retails the Trition pick-up truck in Peninsular Malaysia from RM105,000 onwards. Visit MMM’s official website, or the event’s official microsite mentioned, for more details.
