Hear ye, hear ye! Mitsubishi Motors plans to show off a new electrified concept vehicle, happening at the Japan Mobility Show 2023, this October 26.

A teaser so far, what was divulged is just a vague description and a photo of the supposed, electric crossover MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle).

According to the company, the e-concept revolves around a ‘Borderless Adventure’ theme, parading a build that is overall nature-friendly.

It fuses the road handling of an SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) with the comfort of an MPV, featuring a spacious open-feel cabin, and driving dynamics that can handle all kinds of terrains.

This electrified off-roader has a high ground clearance, an electric four-wheel drive (e-4WD) system, large-diameter tyres, and multiple drive modes.

Design-wise, not much can be observed. Its exterior flexes upright and boxy, with seamless joints and smoothly-angled surfaces. An uncanny resemblance to the 2019 Mitsubishi Delica D:5 4WD.

All in all, Mitsubishi is known for its off-roading status, notably with its pride and glory, the Pajero. As such this new e-concept might be a promising prospect for the company.
