- Tesla Pavilion Damansara Now Open - Model Y & 3 Test Drives Available Soon!
Tesla Malaysia today opened its second experience centre, after the official opening of its Cyberjaya location at Pavilion Mall in Damansara Heights. As we previously mentioned, this experience hub is situated right in the middle of Kuala Lumpur's opulent Damansara neighbourhood, which is bordered by other similarly upscale neighbourhoods including Bangsar, Hartamas, and Bukit Tunku.
The 3,000 square foot Tesla Pavilion Damansara experience facility, a site carefully chosen by Tesla regional director Isabel Fan, was officially opened earlier today by YB Nga Kor Ming, the Minister of Local Government Development inconjunction with the official launch of the all new Tesla Model 3. This experience centre would be open daily from 10am to 10pm following the mall operating hours.
Customers interested in either of the two Tesla models offered in Malaysia—the Model Y or Model 3—can visit the experience facility, which is situated at the Damansuria entrance on Level 2. Similar to what is provided at the first Tesla experience facility in Cyberjaya, prospective customers will be able to experience closely with the offerings before committing to a purchase.
But keep in mind that you may only make any Tesla reservations online through the Tesla Malaysia website. During her address, Isabel Fan also made the announcement that all Tesla experience centres will soon offer vehicle test drives and welcome everyone who wants to enjoy the Tesla driving experience.
As for EV charging, Isabel further clarified that the Damansara Pavilion location would primarily provide destination charging services rather than supercharging infrastructure (located at level B1, nine (9) Tesla destination chargers are available, with only five (5) of them open to the public for Tesla owners to use and the other four reserved for internal use). Furthermore, to ensure seamless travel not just within Malaysia but also connecting neighbouring countries Singapore and Thailand, Tesla Malaysia will work harder to place both Superchargers and destination chargers throughout the country in due time.
