The Curve shopping centre in Mutiara Damansara proudly announces the formal opening of 16 Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations on Level B1 of the mall's parking facilities as a crucial step towards a more environmentally friendly future.
The Curve has chosen a total of three (3) charge point providers (CPOs) to work with to meet its commitment to environmental sustainability and customer convenience. ChargEV (Yinson Greentech), ChargeSini, and Carput are the CPOs in charge of installing EV charging stations at malls.

"This marks a significant milestone for the Curve and our commitment to sustainability," said Mr. Jazmi Kamarudin, Chief Operations Officer of Boustead Properties Berhad, which manages The Curve Mall. Since electric vehicles are the way of the future, we take satisfaction in being at the forefront of efforts to improve accessibility and convenience for EV owners. The Curve is a place where convenience and sustainability come together, making it more than just a place to go shopping.
Additionally, he said, "Through this programme, we're not simply providing a service; we're also changing the way we view mobility and the environment. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to ChargeEV by Yinson Greentech, ChargeSini, and Carput, three of our esteemed partners, for supporting us in this endeavour.

The installation of these EV charging stations is consistent with Boustead Holdings' environmental, social, and governance (ESG)-driven Boustead Hijau (BIJAU) agenda, which is in line with the organisation's goal of developing greener infrastructure and incorporating ESG values into all facets of its business strategies.
The Curve is now the go-to destination for eco-conscious shoppers thanks to the addition of EV charging stations as part of this sustainable infrastructure transformation. EV users in the greater Damansara area can now recharge their vehicles while enjoying their shopping and dining experiences at the mall. ChargeSini's 47kW DC chargers 47kWh session would set you back RM0.80 per minute while a 23kWh session would cost you RM0.40 per minute plus a minimum reservation fee of RM5. While Carput's Jomcharge 180kW 2-Gun DC chargers (90kW per gun) would set you back on kWh basis of RM1.50/kWh.

The Curve will launch a number of long-term sustainability activities as part of its steadfast commitment to environmental sustainability as outlined in the BIJAU Agenda. The Curve's growth of the nation's EV charging infrastructure is in line with Malaysia's aim of having 10,000 EV charging stations by 2025, helping the country achieve its green mobility objectives.
