DC Handal Opens Fastest DCFC At Bandar Melaka - 100 kW!

DC Handal just deployed a Kempower DC fast charging (DFCF) facility at The Pines Melaka, which is located along Jalan Tun Sri Lanang of Bandar Melaka. To cap off the year on a high note, the firm’s latest facility now stands as the fastest DCFC in Bandar Melaka.

According to an insider of ours, this 100 kW Kempower DCFC also features dynamic output modulation. Based on an EV's state of charge (SOC), those with lower SOCs will receive more input than other EVs charging at the same time at this facility, so a quick top-up would suffice.

Depending on the EV's input capability or number of EVs plugged in, each of this new Kempower unit’s CCS2 dual-gun could output up to 100 kW at its maximum.

Recently, we've noticed that a large number of EV charging facilities are being set up in Melaka - i.e. ChargeSini DCFC in Jasin and Pulau Sebang, Tesla Superchargers at A’Famosa Freeport. This could suggest that CPOs are most likely anticipating Melaka to receive a steady influx of EV-driving tourists from Singapore and other states in Malaysia throughout the year, thus making it a perfect hub for EV chargers.

The charging rate at this DCFC station in The Pines Melaka is set at RM1.50/kWh. Users can make payment by debit or credit card, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, as well as through both the JomCharge and chargEV apps.
