The Malaysian Road Transport Department (JPJ) has issued its fourth mass recall notification for the year. As a refresher, this is part of the department’s renewed efforts to inform affected vehicle owners of their vehicle's involvement in any product recalls.

JPJ also advises vehicle owners to fully cooperate upon receiving recall notices by contacting designated service centres to schedule appointments and adhere to the service centre's predetermined schedule.

By doing so vehicle owners would avoid putting themselves, as well as their passengers and other motorists, at risk of road accidents due to personal negligence of not adhering to recall notifications as such.

This time, the recall notification involves four (4) major brands, those being Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen and Kia. A total of 5,926 cars are affected as a result. Listed below is the breakdown of vehicles involved by make, model, year and amount.
