Lexus Kota Kinabalu officially opens this week, making it the brand's first outlet in Sabah state.

Lexus Malaysia sees its network grow this week as it welcomes the newly opened Lexus Kota Kinabalu outlet into its fold. This is the Japanese luxury brand’s first ever outlet established in Sabah state, and only its second in the entire East Malaysia region too.

Operated by dealers Borneo Mobility Sabah Sdn Bhd, Lexus Kota Kinabalu is located at Mile 5.5 along Tuaran Road. Typical of the Lexus brand, this centre features elegant aesthetics with a sleek, minimalist building façade matched by an inviting yet opulent interior decorated with carved wooding fittings and batik-inspired flooring.

Lexus Malaysia didn’t disclose figures surrounding square footage or total investment costs to establish the new Lexus Kota Kinabalu. Judging from the images provided though, it’s clear to see that the outlet now stands as a one-stop centre for its discerning clientele based in said Sabah state capital, which is a big deal indeed.

Inside, Lexus Kota Kinabalu boasts an opulent yet inviting ambience. It's showroom space is also decked out with carved wood fittings plus batik-inspired flooring.

Prior to its opening, avid connoisseurs in Sabah had to source and purchase Lexus vehicles from outlets located in other regions – the nearest being Lexus Kuching in neighbouring Sarawak state. This is no longer the case as Lexus Kota Kinabalu now grants access to the brand’s latest and greatest with greater convenience.

“We are thrilled to expand into Sabah, bringing our unique brand of automotive excellence closer to our customers in the state and offering them access to luxury right in their backyard,” expressed Lexus Malaysia President, Datuk Ravindran K, regarding Lexus Kota Kinabalu’s opening.

The exec adds that customers in Sabah can now experience the brand’s renowned bespoke customer experiences for themselves, more so given plans by the brand in to introduce exciting new models over the next few years.

Speaking of which, the opening on Lexus Kota Kinabalu also coincides with the launch of the brand’s latest RX F Sport Hybrid offering. Said model is being extensively featured by Lexus Kota Kinabalu this week as part of its grand opening festivities.

Keen prospects wishing to take a close gander at which can now do so at Lexus Kota Kinabalu, which is reachable via its dedicated phone line at +(6088) 382 288. Further details are available online via Lexus Malaysia’s official website, lexus.com.my.
