Shah Alam Expressway Motorcycle Lane Closure - Extended Till 17 Feb 2024
The temporary traffic diversion to the emergency lanes from the motorcycle lanes on the Shah Alam Motorway (SAE) would be extended from KM 22.7 to 23.1 & KM 24.0 to 24.3 (Eastbound) and KM 24.3 to 24.0 & KM 23.1 to 22.9 (Westbound).
This lane closure is necessary to allow for the construction of the SAE Interchange, West Coast Highway (Taiping-Banting). This lane closure, which began on December 14, 2023, was scheduled to end on January 15, 2024. The closure, however, has been extended by another month and is scheduled to be completed on February 17, 2024.
During the designated implementation period, SAE users should drive cautiously and follow the instructions of traffic officers and road signage.
Users are encouraged to call WCE Infoline at 1700-81-6600 if they need further information.
