Chery Malaysia has expanded its venture into the East Malaysian market by launching its first 3S centre in Sabah.

Chery Malaysia is continuing its rapid expansion momentum by opening the brand’s first 3S centre in Sabah. Owned and operated by dealer-partner Universal Chery Sdn Bhd, Chery Malaysia’s first outlet in the Land Below the Wind is located in the state capital Kota Kinabalu.

Chery Kota Kinablu 3S Centre houses 8 service bays, capable of handling up to 830 vehicles monthly.

On the topic of workshop, this 3S centre also houses eight service bays, all manned by trained Chery technicians, capable of servicing up to 830 vehicles monthly. To ensure top-notch service quality, all Chery vehicles are serviced using only genuine Chery parts and equipment.

"We are thrilled to establish our presence here in Sabah, thus expanding our network further across Malaysia, providing more Malaysians with the opportunity to own our range of vehicles," said Chery Malaysia Vice President Lee Wen Hsiang at the launch.

"This new showroom and service centre underscore our commitment to providing exceptional service and convenience to our customers in Sabah. We look forward to welcoming new customers to our brand and allowing them to experience the quality and reliability of our Chery vehicles," he added.

Since the introduction of both the Tiggo 8 Pro and Omoda 5 in July 2023, Chery Malaysia is now oeprating 40 outlets nationwide.

This new Chery Kota Kinabalu outlet is one of 40 Chery dealerships currently operational nationwide, reflecting the brand’s aggressive expansion into our local market, which was started by the launching of the Omoda 5 and Tiggo 8 Pro back in July 2023. With the arrival of its first EV, the Omoda E5, plus several upcoming models this year, we can expect this number to further increase by the end of this year.
