With effect from March 8, 2024, Rapid KL has announced a minor price adjustment for its MyCity passes. In particular, the one-day MyCity Pass used to cost RM5, but as of right now, it costs RM6.

The company explains that the Klang Valley rail line expansion, the Putrajaya Line's opening last year, and the Shah Alam LRT Line's opening early next year are some of the factors contributing to the one-day MyCity pass price increase. Having said that, the RM15 three-day pass price is still the same.

The announcement also states that Rapid KL is reintroducing the MyCity pass for non-Malaysians. They cost RM10 and RM25, respectively, and are available in one-day and three-day options. 2580562.jpg

These passes are available for purchase online via the MyRapid PULSE app beginning on March 11 or at customer service counters at LRT, MRT, Monorail, and BRT stops, in addition to certain bus hubs.

It is noteworthy that the Klang Valley's Rapid KL-operated rail and bus services are now covered by these MyCity passes.

This was first offered as a limited-time offer last year, but because of high demand, it was extended indefinitely. Making this a permanent change could therefore be another reason for the price increase.
