According to Datuk Hasbi Habibollah, deputy minister of transportation, this system, which is being developed in collaboration with the works ministry, would identify and track any heavy vehicles that are overloaded on public roads.

In response to a question from Setiu member of parliament Shaharizukirnain Abdul Kadir about the transport ministry's efforts to address the risks posed by overweight vehicles speeding on public roads, the deputy minister of transportation stated in the Dewan Rakyat, "With this, detecting and monitoring any offenders can be done automatically in real-time without needing the heavy vehicle to stop for inspection."

The minister claims that 94 or more companies that operate goods delivery vehicles have been suspended due to failures in the audit process and 2023 accidents. If anyone violates the provisions of the Land Public Transport Act of 2010, the Commercial Vehicles Licensing Board Act of 1987, or the Road Transport Act of 1987, the Ministry will not hold back in taking severe enforcement action.

Lorries that lose control can and do cause fatalities, as evidenced by a case in Putrajaya last year that killed two motorcyclists and injured seven others. Last year, transport minister Anthony Loke stated that enforcement of overloaded heavy vehicles has always existed, and that legal action against drivers who commit road violations in Malaysia is strict enough.
