2795614.jpg A bus driver who filmed school students and posted it to TikTok has been taken into custody by the police. The 24-year-old man was arrested in Simpang Renggam this morning at around three in the morning, according to Johor Police Chief M Kumar.
The man is currently being investigated under Section 15(a)(iii) of the Sexual Offenses Against Children Act 2017 and Section 15(2) of the Children Act 2001.
The Minister of Women, Family, and Community Development, Dato Sri Nancy Shukri has previously  directed her officers to report a school bus driver who has been sharing videos of the school kids he drives online.

Nancy stated that she gave the Child Development Department officers instructions to file the report right away and that her ministry is willing to work with Johor's Sexual, Women, and Child Investigation Division.

According to the minister, this conduct is intolerable and ought not to become the norm since it is illegal to share images or videos of a child without the consent of their parents under the Child Act of 2001.
The young bus driver known for his videos of driving students is facing criticism after concerns were raised about his content, which has been deemed inappropriate because it involves children.

The man quickly rose to fame with seemingly innocent content about his daily life as a bus driver, and he now has over 600,000 followers and over 10.5 million views.

His passengers, mostly primary and secondary school students, were frequently seen in the background of his videos, either sitting quietly or sleeping, and he referred to the children as his "crush" or "beloved" in the captions.

As the online debate heated up, netizens began tagging key figures like Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil and Women, Family, and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri, urging them to take action.

Many users stated that authorities must address these concerns before any further harm is done, and they advocated for stricter guidelines on TikTok content featuring minors.
