- Jacked Up Fuel Prices From 9 To 15 January

The Ministry of Finance (MoF) has announced the retail prices of all fuels in Malaysia, for the coming week of 9 to 15 January, 2025, the rates are as such.
Regular RON95 maintains its ceiling price of MYR 2.05 per litre, which was set by the government in February 2021.
Premium RON97 increases by 5 cents. The price is now at MYR 3.33 per litre.
Diesel also rises by 5 cents, setting its retail price in Peninsular Malaysia at MYR 3.03 per litre (Euro 5 B10/B20) and MYR 3.23 per litre (Euro 5 B7).
Retail price for diesel in East Malaysia remains at MYR 2.15 per litre (Euro 5 B10/B20) and MYR 2.35 per litre (Euro 5 B7).
That said, these prices take effect from midnight tonight, until the next price announcement from the Ministry next Wednesday, 15 January, 2025.
