PLUS Announces Several Road Closures For ASEAN Summit

To all PLUS highway users, please be advised that PLUS Malaysia Berhad is doing some road closures on their highways from May 23rd to 26th, and again on the 28th, for the ASEAN Summit 2025.

This action follows a recent statement by the Royal Malaysia Police's Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) detailing road closures to facilitate the movement of summit delegates.

Parts of the KLIA to Putrajaya (via the ELITE Highway), Subang to Jalan Duta ( NKVE), and Sungai Buloh to Jalan Duta (North-South Expressway) will all be closed in phases.
Road closures will be phased in from 7AM. on May 23 to 26, and will resume on May 28 at 8AM.

Road users, especially those travelling to and from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and TUDM Subang should plan ahead to avoid potential delays.

Real-time traffic updates are available through JSPT/PDRM social media, the PLUS app, X (@PLUSTrafik), electronic message boards (VMS) on highways, and navigation apps like Google Maps and Waze for better route planning during this period.

PLUS assures it will take necessary actions for smooth highway operations and will cooperate fully with traffic authorities in the affected areas.

FYI, PDRM is doing a dry run today, meaning there'll be several road closures in the Klang Valley. Best to take public transport if you can to avoid any delays, since delegates will be driven between hotels and event venues.
