- WCE Reports 48% Jump In Toll Revenue, Eyes Full Completion By 2027

WCE Holdings Bhd, the concessionaire behind the West Coast Expressway, saw a 48% rise in toll collection in the second quarter ending Sept 30, 2025, as traffic picked up on newly opened sections.
Toll revenue for the quarter hit RM44.1 million, up from RM29.8 million a year earlier, while total revenue increased slightly to RM154.28 million from RM151.16 million.
The company’s net loss widened to RM26.4 million from RM10.58 million, reflecting the ongoing costs of running a highway under development.

Despite the losses, WCE remains on track to finish the full 233km expressway by March 2027.
“The group remains focused on completing the remaining construction works to achieve full completion by FY2027,” CEO Lyndon Alfred Felix said.
Three sections are still under construction which are a 10.1km stretch connecting Shah Alam to the Lembah Klang network, a 4.5km link to the Selat Klang Utara Barat highway, and a 29.5km section from Assam Jawa to Tanjung Karang.

Construction had been delayed due to land possession issues in Kampung Jawa. Recently, the High Court dismissed a suit from a former landowner seeking to block a possession notice, clearing the way for WCE to enforce the notice and continue work on the remaining plots.
