- MAA: Nov 2025 Vehicle Sales Dip 4.6% from Oct, BEV Rush Keeps Market Strong
Even with the small drop, sales stayed strong thanks to ongoing promotions and a rush to buy fully imported battery electric vehicles (CBU BEVs) before the tax exemption ends in Dec, as announced in Budget 2026.

Compared to Nov last year, total sales were up 5.5% from 68,749 units. Passenger vehicles did well, rising 5.8% to 67,308 units, while commercial vehicles saw a small increase of 1% to 5,201 units.
From Jan to Nov, total vehicle sales reached 727,836 units, just below last year’s 736,317 units. Passenger vehicle sales held steady at 673,751 units, while commercial vehicles fell 11% to 54,085 units.
Production in Nov also saw a slight increase, with 62,829 units made, up 2% from last year. So far this year, production is at 680,173 units, down 6% from 2024.

MAA expects the momentum to continue into Dec as buyers take advantage of year-end deals and make last-minute CBU BEV purchases before the tax incentive ends.
