Proton Announces 2025 Flood Relief Program For Affected Owners

Heads up for Proton owners affected by the recent spell of floods, the automaker has initiated a relief program with discounts on selected parts and labour.


In light of the recent of floods caused by continuous heavy rains that hit the nation, national automaker Proton has initiated its 2025 Flood Relief Program. The aim of this effort is to assist vehicle owners affected by the recent floods mentioned.

“The 2025 Flood Relief Program is designed to give immediate financial relief and professional assistance,ensuring our customers have a clear, dependable pathway to repair their cars during this monsoon season.” said Datuk Abdul Rashid Musa who recently took up the position of Deputy CEO at the national automaker.

The program brings discounts of up to 50% on parts for customers covered under the Proton Insurance Program (PIP).


In its press release, Proton notes the program runs from Nov 26, 2025 until 31 May, 2026. It will be offered through both authorised Proton service centres and body & paint outlets. Critically, the program is also set to offer relief in the form of discounted parts and  and labour prices depending on model.

Firstly, customers covered under the Proton Insurance Program (PIP) are set to receive up to 50% discounts on selected parts for the legacy Persona, Iriz, Exora and Saga models. Next comes a 25% discount on selected parts for the marque’s Geely-based X-series (X50, X70 and X90) and S70 models.

Besides discounted parts, flood-affected customers under PIP are also given a 25% discount on labour, and this covers all models too.

As for affected customers not covered under PIP, fret not as Proton will still offer assistance for which too. It sees a 30% discount on selected Persona, Iriz, Exora and Saga parts, 15% discount on Geely-based X-series and S70 models, as well as a 25% discount on labour for all models.

With what we’ve detailed, flood affected Proton owners are encouraged to visit their nearest authorised Proton service centre as soon as conditions allow. At which point, certified technicians will carry out inspections and provide repair recommendations based on the program structure.
