BMW X4 M

The BMW X4 is the 5-seater coupe-style SUV that launched its 2020 release with its new variant, BMW X4 M Competition variant and price starts from RM904,276.00. The new X4 M Competition showcases top-notch performance while maintaining the M Automobile exclusivity.

The X4 M Competition has used a good mix of metal and soft-touch materials, keeping the overall exclusive cabin feel similar to the exterior of the vehicle. The all-black cabin’s layout with carbon fibre and highlight trims also maintains the defined feel with the M-specific touches fitted in the cabin.

The X4 features an M-specific instrument cluster with the full-colour Heads Up Display, which shows information relevant to the journey. Some of the information displayed are current speed, navigation direction, Speed Limit Info and entertainment lists. 

The X4 M Competition comes with 5 seats and is finished with Merino leather. For the seats, it is equipped with active ventilation, lumbar support and adjustable seatbacks. 

The X4 offers spacious space for the driver and the second-row passengers, hence there will be no issues in headroom and legroom shortage even after extending the seats fully. 

The vehicle has a decent-sized glove compartment that can accommodate any necessities and several storage compartments in the centre console and armrest.

There are four cup holders altogether scattered in the vehicle, as well as four bottle holders for all four doors.

The X4 M Competition has two USB charging ports and one 12V power outlet is located in the centre armrest of the vehicle. 

The X4 is equipped with 525 litres of boot space with all the seats up. Even so, rear split seats ensure boot space is more than enough allowing it to expand to 1,430 litres. 

The measurements are 4,758 mm in length, 1,927 mm in width and 1,620 mm in height, with a wheelbase spanning 2,864 mm for the X4.

The X4 has the following active safety features; Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Active Cruise Control with Stop and Go function, Lane Keeping Assistant with active side collision protection, Front Cross-Traffic Alert, and as well as steering and lane control assistant.  

The passive safety features include six airbags located at the front, side and curtain, seat belts with belt tensioners and belt force limiter as well as ISOFIX child seats anchor points. 

The X4 M Competition offers three different driver modes which include Efficient, Comfort and Sport Plus. 

The vehicle is fitted with a 10.25-inch BMW Navigation System LCD colour display that features a built-in hard drive for audio files storage and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon surround sound system. The infotainment system is fitted with BMW ConnectedDrive and also supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The X4 M Competition features a 3.0-litre BMW M TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder and Dual Overhead Camshaft (DOHC) petrol engine which generates 509 hp at 6,250 rpm and 600 Nm from 2,600 to 5,950 rpm.

The X4 M Competition is fitted with the 8-speed sport automatic transmission with M Steptronic transmission. 

The BMW X4 M Competition is an all-wheel-drive variant equipped with the M xDrive. 

The car can speed up from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds.

The fuel consumption is approximately around 10.6 l/100km when combined, according to BMW claims.  

Convenience features include the BMW ConnectedDrive, the BMW Display Key, BMW Gesture Control, smartphone connectivity, Driving Assistant Plus, automatic parking assistant and remote 3D view.
