Making-up the ‘Intelligent Cockpit’ (Qualcomm SA8295P Snapdragon Systems-on-Chips - SoC), installed is a 10.25-Inch HD TFT LCD driver display (instrument cluster), with a 39.95-Inch Augmented Reality (AR) Head-Up Display (AR-HUD).

Practical storage areas. E.g., side door/seat back pockets, centre console spaces (partitioned/caverned/retractable/under-stowage), a glove box, refrigerator (8.6 Litres – cooling/heating) and a hidden boot space (under-boot floor).

Provided are four cup holders (two – first, second row) and six bottle holders (two – first, second, third row).

Accessing its electric-powered (contactless: remote/key fob, button, kick-sensor, height adjustment, memory) tailgate, opens to 574 Litres (first, second, third row seats up) and 2,979 Litres (second, third row seats down) of load capacities.

The side mirrors (dual-tone – Black-body-colour) are electric-powered (auto-fold, adjust) with sequential turn signals (LED), blind-spot indicators (Blind Spot Detection – BSD), reverse-dipping, heating and memory.

The all-new 009 gets the following suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

Completing the ‘Intelligent Cockpit’ (Qualcomm SA8295P Snapdragon Systems-on-Chips - SoC), installed is a 15.05-Inch OLED CSD touchscreen central display (infotainment, control unit). 

Included is a 17-Inch OLED screen (roof-mounted – remote control – second row), ‘Smartbar’ screen (door-mounted – control panel – second row) and High-Definition (HD) camera (second row – video calls, rear monitoring).

The system supports Apple CarPlay/Android Auto (wireless), media, live navigation, Bluetooth, 5G/WiFi/WiFi hotspot, face recognition, voice assistant (‘Intelligent’ AI assistant – “Hi Zeekr’), ‘Intelligent’ scene modes, mobile app remote control (Zeekr App), app store and Over-The-Air (OTA) updates.

Entertainment is channelled via a YAMAHA Surround Stereo premium audio system (30 speakers – eight headrest speakers).

The all-new 009 (Executive, Luxury, Ultra-Luxury) underpins variant-specific e-powertrains (BEV).

Nestled (Executive) is a single-electric motor (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor – PMSM) setup (front-mounted), generating 250 KW (335 HP) and 373 NM.

Fused (Luxury, Ultra-Luxury) is a dual-electric motor (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor – PMSM) setup (front-rear-mounted), generating 450 KW (603 HP) and 693 NM.

Merged to the setup is a single-speed automatic transmission.

Power is transmitted to the front wheels (Executive) and all four wheels (Luxury, Ultra-Luxury), via a Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) system and an All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system.

0 to 100 KM/H acceleration is done in 7.9 seconds (Executive) and 4.5 seconds (Luxury, Ultra-Luxury). Top speed is electronically capped at 210 KM/H (Executive, Luxury, Ultra-Luxury).

The suspension setup consists of double wishbone-virtual double ball head (front) and integrated multi-link-aluminium (rear), incorporating lateral stabiliser bars (front, rear).

Supporting the setup is a High-Performance Air Suspension Package (ZEEKR Magic Carpet, dual-chamber air suspension system, CCD Electromagnetic Vibration Reduction System, CST Comfort Braking System).

Ride comfortability feels flexible and firm at the same time. The vehicle delivers a connected steering feel, with linear and balanced weighing at all speeds. 

Overall, it is spacious and comfortable, and the ride quality is satisfactory. Safe and suitable for a daily driver.

Good sound insulation, covering all the NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) aspects. The cabin is serene, with the tyre, road and wind noises mostly hindered. 

Included are CCD Electromagnetic Vibration Reduction System and acoustic glasses (front windscreen, rear side windows).

The all-new Zeekr 009 exudes an electrifyingly modern outlook. Its elegantly boxy and symmetrically seamless body contours just speak electric.

Interior wise, its shell envelopes a tech savvy cockpit, featuring advanced connectivity, safety systems and creature comfort features.

Ultimately, the build quality is excellent, and with its distinctive outlook and energising powertrain, the all-new 009 is surely an e-MPV to consider.
