New Nissan Navara Unveiled and It's Really Handsome!

Nissan has just unveiled the facelifted Navara, and we couldn’t wait for it to show up on our shores! If you are a fan of angular good looks, read on.

The front hood of the new Navara is now higher than before, with the front grille taking up significant space. Flanking it is a pair of quad LED projectors that lends an air of sophistication when lit up.

At the back, a revised rear bumper step allows for easier access to the cargo bed, which now delivers the best-in-class payload of 1.1 tonnes because of the strengthened rear axle.

Cabin insulation has been significantly upgraded with more soundproofing material, acoustic laminated windscreen and front windows. The 8-inch touchscreen display on the centre console supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Passengers at the rear were not forgotten too with improved backrest design and cushions. It’s also more car-like with a rear armrest and built-in cup holders.

Interior and exterior enhancements aside, the Navara is also much safer. It gets front collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning and intervention, blind spot monitoring system, and rear cross traffic alert.

The new Navara is not only good for the urban jungle, it’s pretty capable in the real jungle as well. Apart from the around view monitor which seems par for course nowadays, the Navara also comes with an off-road monitor to see what’s directly below the car when driving offroad.

When in 4WD mode, the Navara activates its Active Brake Limited Slip Differential system (ABLS), this system will not only distribute and manage engine power between the front and rear, it will also channel drive accordingly to the right and left.

For those who want cool-looking Navara, they can tick the PRO-4X option on the list. This version of Navara will come dressed up with bits of black and orange splattered across the car, including the emblem, front bumper, grille, black door handles, and roof racks.

The Nissan Navara is manufactured in Thailand which is known for pickups. Do you want to see this handsome brute donning a Malaysian registration plate? Let us know in the comments section!
