Both pre-facelift models have been well received by Malaysian since their launch in 2019, with a total of more than 60,000 units sold nationwide.

However, most of these features are not available in the 1.5J variant.

As for the range topping variant, the 1.5G variant comes with leather seats (except for Yaris), leather wrapped steering wheel, and gear knob, leather centre armrest, 6-speaker sound system, paddle shifters, chrome plated door handles, rear disc brakes, and auto dimming rear view mirror.

Standard safety features available across all variants include the 7-SRS airbags, vehicle stability control, traction control, hill-start assist, anti-lock braking system, electronic brake distribution, brake assist, emergency stop signal, auto door lock, parking sensors, seat belt warning, and ISOFIX child seat mounting points.

As for the Toyota Safety Sense safety suite, which includes the pre-collision warning, lane departure warning, 3D panoramic view monitor, blind spot warning, rear cross traffic alert, are only available on the E and G variants. Both variants also get the VTS, premium security solar tinting film.

Customers will need to pay an additional RM 400 for the Platinum White Pearl and Orange Metallic.
