Automobili Lamborghini wins “Top Employer Italy 2021” award
Automobili Lamborghini has bagged the title of “Top Employer Italy” from the Top Employers Institute for two years short of an entire decade.
The company finally won the 2021 title due to their attempts to foster a corporate culture that prioritizes its people.

In 2021, the Sant’Agata Bolognese based luxury sports carmaker has more than 1,800 staff, which is a 10 percent growth compared to 2020, as well as an increase of 70 percent within the past five years.

Among the many highlights of the company’s biggest priority - their people, include the multiple fresh initiatives that have been introduced to encourage diversity, inclusion, equal parenting rights as well as equal pay for men and women with equivalent qualifications and duties.

Other than that, Automobili Lamborghini created a programme that focuses on maintaining contact with the company as well as assuring the employees that training will commence as usual despite the lockdown.
The Stop and Train or “Fermarsi e Formarsi” digital programme by the company has also provided its people with suggestions on how to make the most of their time during the quarantine, in line with the pandemic.
Complementary training classes that are inclusive of an Italian Sign Language class that was introduced to make sure that hearing-impaired colleagues feel more included.
As Automobili Lamborghini prioritises on its people, a healthier work-life balance is integrated such as the early pay of the Results Bonus, access to benefits worth up to 80 percent of pay for days taken off because of COVID and also an additional seven days.

On top of that, employees at the company are provided with a supplementary 80 holiday hours, switching their Year-End Bonus into paid leave or even implementing the Hours Solidarity Bank programme.
Not forgetting various social responsibility initiatives taken by the company after the 70 day temporary shut down in spring 2020, such as the conversion of the production departments in line to produce medical face masks and visors for St. Orsola Hospital in Bologna as well as collaborating with SIARE Engineering International Group to produce breathing simulators.

“In a year dominated by the pandemic, this award is even more poignant. Our company reacted promptly to the challenges presented by the emergency, considering our people as the absolute priority and implementing actions dictated by an absolute sense of responsibility towards the company and the country. Investing constantly in the wellbeing and growth of our people drives their sense of motivation, which plays a vital role in meeting company targets and gives us all common values and perspectives,” said its chief human capital officer Umberto Tossini.
