A Comparison on The Three Perodua Ativa Variants
The Perodua Ativa, or known as D55L has just been welcomed in the Malaysian car market and it has grabbed the attention of many.
With its extensive amount of features, it is definitely worth the price you are paying for.
Generally, all three variants are equipped with the very first 1.0-liter turbocharged three cylinder engine and Dual-Mode CVT (D-CVT) which is part of the new Daihatsu New Global Architecture (DNGA) global platform.
To name a few, the base variant of the Ativa which is the X variant features 16-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps with Automatic High Beams (AHB), keyless entry with push start and a 4.2-inch LCD Multi-info Display in between its analogue instrument cluster as well as a 11-inch radio with Bluetooth and MP3.
In terms of safety, the Ativa X is equipped with six airbags and features the upgraded Advanced Safety Assist 3.0 ADAS suite and as well as Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) which also comes as standard for all its variants.
Meanwhile, the H variant gets certain features which are not available in the X variant. Some of them are LED front fog lamps, sequential turn signals and upsized 17-inch alloy wheels.
For the interior, the H variants are equipped with a nifty 7-inch TFT Multi-info Display and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system which sadly, does not support Android Auto and Apple Carplay. The H variant also receives an upgraded steering wheel with more than 20 buttons, which is not available in the X variant.
The H variant gets a few add-ons in terms of safety which are front parking sensors, a reverse camera, and Adaptive Driving Beam headlamps.
On the other hand, the range-topping AV variant maintains the equipment found in the H variant with add-ons such as dual-tone body colour options, two-tone leather seats and 6 speakers.
A major highlight of the X variant is the semi-autonomous driving assistance features. Some of the features included are the Lane Keep Control (LKC) and the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC).
As a recap, below is the complete table of what each variant has to offer:
