A Glimpse Into The All-New Kia K8’s Interior Cabin
Kia Corporation is allowing the public to dive deeper into their all-new Kia K8, with a recent unveiling of the premium sports sedan’s interior cabin.![]()
Previously mentioned in our K8 story, with Kia aiming to rejuvenate their brand, it is further demonstrated by showcasing a first-class interior lounge that blends premium luxury with effortless style and unrivalled comfort.
Kia Global Design Center’s head and senior vice president Karim Habib said, “The K8 is a modern sedan with a dynamic exterior that is matched by its progressive and elegant interior. This car is our first since our new company rebranding, which puts us on the path forward as we look to realize our future goals.”
Every craftsmanship and essence of the K8’s interior have been built to serve and elevate the senses of the vehicle’s occupants. Sophisticated and detailed wood materials help create a feeling of calm and tranquility, while state-of-the-art tech connects the car to the modern world.
On the Kia K8’s dashboard, is a panoramic curved display which links a 12-inch digital cluster and a 12-inch infotainment system, the display is clean, ultra-modern and easy-to-use, giving the K8 an effective minimalist-meets-simplicity tech style.

It will feature an industry leading audio from the world-renowned British audio pioneer, Meridian, this will be the first ever for a Kia vehicle. Installed will be a 14-speaker premium sound system set up that will deliver the finest quality of in-car surround sound.
“Interior of the K8 is a canvas for our ambition to define the future, nature meets modern technology, and refinement meets uncompromised comfort. It is a first-class travel space that fulfills the needs of the driver and passengers,” he further added.
Resting under the panoramic curved screen display, is a new air-conditioning control system that is operated via a touchpad interface. The touchpad enables the occupants to control the operation modes between the two systems with a centrally located button.
The ergonomic center console is designed with wood-based cup holders and the soft touch switches get a glossy finish. It’s optimally positioned for the driver and passenger as the latter is positioned with an elevated profile alongside the shift-by-wire transmission dial.
Other dashboard related equipment is a new steering wheel design that is crafted from the people at Kia, which gets the company’s new logo positioned at the center in between the multifunction shortcut buttons.

Further accentuating the interior cabin is the character it was built with. Materials used on the wood surfaces are of beautifully intricate and detailed finishing. Luxurious usage of wood is complemented by exposed high quality metals paired with stylistic elements directly inspired by modern yachts.
Intricate diamond lattice design of the exterior grille has been brought into the interior of the luxury sedan, creating elegantly stitched patterns. It can be seen on the majority part of the upholstery, which is made out of Napa leather.
Just like the K8’s exterior headlights, further adding to its interior’s atmosphere is Kia’s innovative ‘Star Cloud’ lighting. It illuminates a glittering and interactive ambient lighting on the door trim and dashboard areas.
All in all, it offers a wide cabin effect that is light and expensive in touch, while pairing it with a sleek, classy and minimalist style. Thus, owners of the all-new Kia K8 will be greeted by an open, comfortable and luxurious space the moment they enter the sports sedan.
