Calling All Honda Vehicle Owners! Honda Recalls 77,708 Vehicle Units For Fuel Pump Replacement

Honda Malaysia has announced a product recall that involves 77,708 unit vehicles as a precautionary measure to replace the fuel pumps. 

This action is taken as a preventive measure in order to approach the chance of issues when starting the engine, loss of engine power or even vehicle stalling. Following are the list of models involved:-

The 2019 Honda City is one of the highest models under the company that has been recalled.

Customers who are affected by this will be notified through notification letters that will include details of the product recall. On top of that, customers are also able to confirm if their vehicle is also included in the recall. The company advises all affected customers to contact their trusted Honda authorised dealer to book an appointment for their fuel pump replacements. 

Fuel pump replacements will be handled free of charge and all cost related activities to do with the replacement will also be endured by Honda Malaysia. Please note that the fuel pump replacement will be subject to parts availability and will be made available in stages. 

Thankfully, there has been no reports in the country of any crashes or injuries regarding this issue.
