Good news! People With Disabilities Can Now Receive Vaccines With Drive-Throughs!
While the government has been actively providing vaccines to Malaysian citizens, people with disabilities (OKU) have not been forgotten!

Realizing the fact that it is difficult for family members to bring the disabled to the vaccination centres (PPV) due to their limited mobility, the government decided to provide a drive-through PPV specifically for this group.

The government has decided to make it easier for 40,000 members of the disabled community in the country to get vaccinated.

They now don’t have to wait in long queues or be in a crowded area with people at the PPV entrance.
In fact, the government has also agreed to increase the distribution capacity of vaccine injections to 400 people a day.
In case you didn't know, the PPV drive-through for people with disabilities has already started its vaccination programme yesterday (June 17).
All 40,000 members of the disabled community are said to receive their vaccines in stages over the next five months.
“Currently, the PPV drive-through will give 80 injections to the disabled until this Friday. Following that, the distribution of the injections will be increased to 160 to 200 doses a day for the next five months,” said OKU Central Chairman Senator Datuk Ras Adiba Radzi.

A big thank you to the government for providing various facilities in order to ensure that all walks of life receive vaccinations before the end of the year!
