Engine & Performance

Lexus UX 200 Luxury

All Lexus UX 200 variants use a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder engine whose power is channeled to the front wheels via a 10-speed CVT Direct-Shift transmission. The engine used allows the car to produce 169 hp horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 205 Nm of torque at 4,800 rpm. The acceleration time of this model from 0 to 100 km/h is 9.2 seconds and has a maximum speed of 190 km/h.

BMW X1

The BMW X1 uses a 1.5-liter, 3-cylinder B38 engine with single twin-scroll turbo combined with a 7-speed Steptronic dual-clutch transmission. The engine delivers 138 hp of horsepower at 4,600-6,500 rpm and 220 Nm of torque at 1,480-4,200 rpm. Century acceleration from 0-100 km/h can be done in just 9.6 seconds with a top speed of 201 km/h.

Mercedes-Benz GLA 200

The next competitor, the Mercedes-Benz GLA 200 is powered by a 1.3-liter, 4-cylinder Renault-sourced M282 turbocharged engine that delivers 163 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 250 Nm of torque at 1,620 to 4,000 rpm. The transmission used is a 7-speed Getrag dual-clutch. The power on this car allows it to perform a century acceleration of 0-100 km/h in just 8.7 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 210 km/h.

Fuel Consumption Rate

On paper, the Lexus UX has an oil consumption rate of 6.2 liters/100 km and the Mercedes-Benz GLA 200 at 5.7 - 6.0 liters/100 km. The BMW X1 has the highest fuel consumption rate of 6.3 liters/100 km.

Vehicle Dimension

Lexus UX Luxury

The Lexus UX has a length of 4495 mm, a width of 1840 mm and a height of 1520 mm. The dimensions for length, width and height for the BMW X1 on the other hand are 4447 × 1821 × 1598 (mm). Meanwhile, the Mercedes-Benz GLA 200 also has dimensions of 4410 x 1834 x 1611 (mm).

Based on the dimensions, it can be seen that the Lexus UX has the longest length and width size compared to the BMW X1 and GLA 200 but has the shortest height than its competitors.
