Good News! Perodua Showrooms And After Sales Centres Have Reopened

Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sendirian Berhad has resumed operations nationwide. This includes sales, after-sales centres, as well as body and paint businesses. 

Did you know that the company has 191 sales, 197 services and 69 body and paint centres all over the country?

This action was taken after the recent resumption of its manufacturing facilities at its headquarters in Sungai Choh, Rawang. 

“Deliveries have started in stages since this week, and we expect that we can see more Perodua cars produced and registered in the coming weeks,” said Perodua President and Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Zainal Abidin Ahmad. 

“We thank our customers for their patience, understanding and loyalty in receiving your Perodua vehicle. We expect to be able to deliver nearly all existing orders within the year.”

“We are currently evaluating the impact of the lockdown that was introduced on 1st June 2021 to our operations, and we will announce our revised targets for the year soon,” he added. 

The company has 11,000 people under its direct employment and more than 70,000 people in its ecosystem. 

Despite having met the required criteria for vaccinations of its employees, Perodua has still outlined safety guidelines for customers who wish to visit its sale and after-sales centres (also includes body and paint facilities). 

Among these safety guidelines are being fully vaccinated, wearing a mask, making an appointment at the sales and/or service outlet before visiting, and always observe physical distancing.
