This was to ensure that users will not be affected with the actual global price. "The government will continue to monitor the impact of crude oil price fluctuations and take appropriate measures to safeguard the well-being of the people," said the Ministry of Finance.<div> </div>

Johor Proposes RTS2 Link Between Iskandar Puteri and Tuas

In the meantime, it urged authorities to improve the efficiency of the current toll collection system as an immediate step to tackle congestion.This follow-up comes after the Works Ministry revealed that the <a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.carz.com.my/2025/07/mlff-toll-system-likely-delayed-until-2027-works-ministry" target="_blank">MLFF rollout is unlikely before 2027</a>. While a basic legal framework is in place, new supporting regulations are still being drafted.So far, no government trials have been carried out. All testing has been done by <a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.carz.com.my/2023/06/duke-mlff-testing-underway-coexistence-of-on-board-unit-number-plate-recognition-considered" target="_blank">individual highway operators</a>.
