Rolls Royce Motor Cars At The Salon Privé, An Exclusive Celebration Of Bespoke Masterpieces
Rolls Royce presented two highly bespoke masterpieces, the Black Badge Wraith and Black Badge Cullinan at Salon Privé, an exclusive Concours d’Elégance in Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire.
The Black Badge represents a subversive alter ego of the Rolls Royce brand and also the first time the bespoke personalisation extended from the design studio into the marque’s engineering centre.

For Salon Privé 2021, the featured Black Badge Wraith and Black Badge Cullinan are each an expression of a client’s aesthetic sensibilities and a showcase of the marque’s bespoke capabilities.
Admiring at the Black Badge Cullinan, a highly contemporary bespoke ‘Verde Ermes’ green hue has been selected for the exterior coachwork.

Then, a dark chrome ‘Spirit of Ecstasy’, blackened stainless steel exterior treatment and exclusive 22-inch part-polished Black Badge wheels embolden the aesthetic.
Interior wise, ‘Havana’ trim has been selected for the seats, contrasted by ‘Tan’ leather panels alongside ‘Cashmere Grey’ accents for the seat piping.
Conversely, the Black Badge Wraith on display showcased the marque’s surface finish capabilities with bold ‘Iced Premiere Silver’ coachwork.
Said hue created an almost monochromatic effect alongside the dark chrome ‘Spirit of Ecstasy’ and 21-inch part-carbon fibre Black Badge wheels.

Indulging the interior, the Black Badge Wraith’s colour treatment incorporates the marque’s vivid Mugello Red for the entire upholstery.
Furthermore, just like in previous years, Rolls Royce Motor Cars led the Tour Privé, and this year’s 120-mile (193 km) drive of the Cotswolds was commanded by the Ghost.
Speaking of which, the Rolls Royce Ghost, the latest iteration of the most successful product in the marque’s 117-year history, was paraded in a deep ‘Salamanca Blue’ exterior.
Diving inside, a ‘Cashmere Grey’ leather creates a clean and simple aesthetic, reflecting the ‘Post Opulent’ philosophy that underpins Ghost.

While ‘Navy Blue’ on the secondary panels of the seats, the steering wheel and ‘Cobalto Blue’ seat piping echoed the exterior hue.
Spanning the fascia and topping the centre console between the front seats is ‘Circassian Walnut’ with a rich open-pore texture that gives a natural aura to the Ghost’s modern interior suite.
Additionally, visitors at the Salon Privé got to experience the global public debut of the marque’s British showroom specialists, each of whom has created concepts for the Ghost and Phantom.

Attendees at Salon Privé in the VIP area were able to witness design renders, leather swatches and paint samples of these highly bespoke cars for the first time.
Drawn upon various muses, these seven design studies signify Rolls Royce’s peerless fluency in bespoke that verified the scope of the marque’s craft, design and engineering skills.
Interestingly, other Rolls Royces that attended the Salon Privé, e.g., a Black Badge Wraith, Black Badge Dawn and Ghost, were all available for the marque’s patrons of luxury to test drive.
