Rolls Royce Rolled Up With A Couple Of Stunners, The Friskee Pink Ghost And Iced Turchese Black Badge
Rejoicing in the 70th assembly of Monterey Car Week, Rolls Royce exhibited two unique Bespoke masterpieces at ‘The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering’.
The world’s leading luxury brand rolled up to the meet with the ever-stunning Ghost in Friskee Pink and the ever-desirable Cullinan Black Badge in Iced Turchese.
Rolls Royce’s Motor Cars Americas’ president Martin Fritsches said, “Rolls Royce Motor Cars is delighted to return to ‘The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering’, for Monterey Car Week 2021. We will present two very special Bespoke commissions this year, Ghost in Friskee Pink and Cullinan Black Badge in Iced Turchese. I look forward to meeting our esteemed clients and friends of the marque in person, once again, at this year’s gathering. Their passion for exquisite luxury experiences and magnificent creations is stronger than ever, as illustrated by these vibrant and spirited commissions.”
In one corner, known as the most successful series in the marque’s 117-year history, the latest iteration of the Ghost was displayed in a bold, colourful finish of Bespoke Friskee Pink.
First of its kind, this unique colour brandishes the pure and minimalist form portrayed by the Ghost’s ‘Post Opulent’ design.
Perfecting this lively colour is a soothing Navy Blue and Arctic White leather interior that integrates detailing of Rolls Royce’s new leather hue, Shieda.
Other stitching details in Shieda are also found on the Ghost’s seats, headrests and leather-encased indicator stalks.
Said bright and bold magenta pink shade accentuates the long, unbroken lines throughout the cabin, for which the Ghost is known for.
In the other corner, created with a bolder and alluring aesthetic, is an iteration of the Cullinan Black Badge series that pushes the boundaries of Bespoke design.
This Cullinan Black Badge features a dramatic Iced Turchese exterior with signature Black Badge detailing all around, creating a daring and progressive statement.
Diving inside, the interior’s colourway is reversed. Embellishing it are strips of black leather upholstery detailed with Turchese leather.
Also, the bespoke Turchese lemniscate logo, akin to the ‘infinity’ symbol and hallmark Black Badge trimmings, flawlessly blends with the Technical Carbon Veneer and other cockpit elements.
Clearly, both Bespoke iterations of the Ghost and Cullinan Black Badge were designed for the Rolls Royce patrons who reject conformity and dares to be different.
