34-Year-Old Man Found Guilty Of Hurling Stones Under The Bridge
Kubang Pasu District Police team have arrested the man who admitted throwing stones at passing vehicles from the Bandar Darulaman Bridge, Kedah.
After receiving two reports of damaged vehicles due to being hit by rocks, police had to investigate further. Also, PLUS received three reports regarding the same incident.
Therefore, a team of policemen was sent to track down the mastermind of the incident, apprehended the 34-year-old suspect after he was found trying to throw stones at vehicles passing under the bridge.
However, the police team successfully stopped his attempt and caught him promptly.
"The investigation has found that the suspect who was riding a Honda Wave motorcycle was seen stopping on the flyover. Soon, he was seen getting off the motorcycle and taking something from his motorcycle.
The suspect has been caught red handed when police found two large stones at his motorcycle.
He confessed his mad action was due to reckless lorry drivers who tend to squeeze his motorcycle which explains the reason of throwing stones incident.
Reportedly, the man was tested positive for methamphetamine after conducted a urine test and had seven previous records related to criminal and drug cases.
The case is currently being investigated under section 427 of the Penal Code for committing treason and suspects involved with drugs will also be investigated under Section 39C of the Dangerous Drugs Act.
