No change to the price of RON 95 petrol, which remains at its ceiling price of RM2.05 per litre, that was set by the government in February this year.Similarly, diesel prices remain as they were, with Euro 5 B10 and B20 blends continuing on at their RM2.15 per litre, and Euro 5 B7 – which costs 10 sen more per litre – stays at RM2.25 per litre.The latest prices take effect from midnight tonight, until Wednesday, November 17.&nbsp;<div> </div>

Those who have passed the mandatory driver education module (KPP01) can now apply for their Probationary Driving Licence (LDL) directly through the MySIKAP portal.&nbsp;Once payment is completed, the LDL will be issued digitally and made available in the MyJPJ app, no physical collection required.JPJ says this latest move is part of its broader push to improve service delivery and reduce congestion at physical counters by encouraging more Malaysians to go digital. A married couple who owned a jewellery business in Pahang died in a tragic accident on Saturday after their <a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.carz.com.my/2024/08/this-ford-mustang-mach-e-ev-travels-916-km-on-a-single-charge" target="_blank" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; white-space-collapse: preserve;">Ford Mustang</a> crashed into an electric pole along Jalan Segamat-Kuantan.The <a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.carz.com.my/ms/2025/08/ford-mustang-langgar-tiang-elektrik-suami-isteri-maut" target="_blank" style="">crash happened around 2pm at Kilometre 13 of the route</a>. The Road Transport Department (JPJ) has identified <a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.carz.com.my/2025/08/jpj-rm3-million-rolls-royce-among-53-vehicles-seized" target="_blank" style="">more than 1,000 luxury vehicles including Ferraris and Lamborghinis that have gone without valid road tax and insurance for an extended period.</a><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;white-space:pre-wrap;">These high-end cars, often owned by celebrities and prominent business figures, are typically used only on weekends or for special occasions. But that, according to JPJ senior enforcement director Muhammad Kifli Ma Hassan, does not exempt them from the law.<span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;white-space:pre-wrap;">“It does not matter how rarely the car is used. If it’s on the road, it must be properly taxed and insured,” he said.

As part of its ongoing enforcement drive under Op Luxury, the department is closely monitoring traffic using both marked and unmarked vehicles.<a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.carz.com.my/2025/06/ops-luxury-jpj-seizes-101-luxury-vehicles" target="_blank" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; white-space-collapse: preserve;"> Officers will not hesitate to seize any vehicle caught driving illegally.</a><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;white-space:pre-wrap;">Between July 30 and August 1, a total of 53 luxury cars were impounded. Among them was a Rolls-Royce Cullinan worth RM3 million, along with a Lamborghini Huracan and an Aston Martin DBX. <span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;white-space:pre-wrap;">In an earlier phase of the operation in June, another 101 vehicles were seized, including a Porsche believed to belong to a local actress.<span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;white-space:pre-wrap;">Kifli said many vehicle owners wrongly assume that their cars do not need valid documents if they are driven only occasionally.

“That assumption is false and against the law. We know who the owners are. If the cars appear on public roads, we will act immediately,” he added. <span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;white-space:pre-wrap;">JPJ is also calling on the public to report similar violations.
