Introducing The New Locally-Assembled Luxury Seven Seater, The Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 4MATIC AMG Line
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia recently revealed the new locally-assembled premium SUV variant, the GLE 450 4MATIC AMG Line. The full-sized seven-seater is priced at RM 475,501.23.

“We are proud to introduce the all-new Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 4MATIC AMG Line as a locally- assembled variant in Malaysia. It portrays the iconic design of the brand while remaining true to its character as a full-sized 7-seater SUV,” said Vice President, Sales & Marketing, at Mercedes-Benz Malaysia, Michael Jopp.

Under the hood, the 3.0-litre turbocharged six-cylinder engine produces 367hp at 5,500 to 6,100 rpm and the maximum torque of 500Nm at 1,600 to 4,500 rpm. It is paired with a 9G-TRONIC nine-speed automatic transmission, as well as is able to accelerate to 100km/h in just 5.7 seconds.

On top of that, the vehicle was manufactured with the latest air suspension system AIRMATIC with enhanced damping systems ADS, as well as the latest driver assistance systems and the new MBUX.
Highlights of the exterior include the signature diamond radiator grille with chrome pins, sporty aprons all-round with large air inlets, MULTIBEAM LED headlamps and 21-inch AMG multi-spoke light alloy wheels.

As for the interior, the GLE is equipped with the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) NTG 6 that comes with two 12.3-inch widescreen displays that include a digital touch screen media display. Not only that, also included is the Burmester Surround Sound System and 64-colour ambient lighting.

“From its luxurious appeal to best-in-class driver assists, the SUV is at the forefront of innovation. The interior derives its fascination from the contrast between its design and the superior technological features, such as the MBUX NTG 6 infotainment system, touch-screen media display and Burmester Surround Sound System.”
Did we mention the best-in-class safety and driving assistance systems? The GLE comes with generous safety features that include Active Distance DISTRONIC, Blind Spot Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist and a 360-degree camera.
