2022 Volvo XC90 B5 – Starting Its Price From RM386,000.00
Volvo Car Malaysia has announced a new range to its XC90 line-up by adding the XC90 B5 Inscription Plus variant. This time around, the new vehicle is powered by a mild-hybrid powertrain under the B badge line.
Staging its price from RM386,842.12 for the 2022 XC90, the figures shown is inclusive of ongoing sales tax exemption and on the road without insurance since it is a locally assembled model.

2022 XC90 comes off with four different hues – Denim Blue, Onyx Black, Pebble Grey and Crystal White.
Riding on its 20-inch wheels, the XC90 B5 Inscription Plus is fitted with four-cylinder turbocharged engine producing 249hp and 350Nm of torque that has incorporated with an electrified powertrain alongside an advanced kinetic energy recovery braking system that could reduce fuel consumption and emissions.

Powered by its 8-speed auto transmission Geartronic, the car enables a zero to 100km/h acceleration time of 7.9 seconds, and a top speed limited to 180 km/h. Fuel consumption is rated 8.2 litres per 100km.
On top of that, the 2022 XC90 B5 includes 360 surround view camera, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, Bowers & Wilkins sound system where also equipped in its XC60 model, a wireless phone charger and alongside of 9-inch Sensus Connect Infotainment System integrated with both Android and Apple CarPlay also co

In terms of bodywork, the latest XC90 B5 has a modern look that looks pretty much the same with its V60 Recharge T8 that launched early this year. Then, XC90 B5 fascia is adorned in full LED headlamps with Active High Beam, LED daytime running light and a panoramic sunroof.
Safety wise, among the standard features of 2022 XC90 B5 included are Lane Keeping Aid, Cross Traffic Alert and City Safety with Autobrake.
