Honda Malaysia targeted 80,000 units for its sales target which is set based on the Company’s forecast Total Industry Volume (TIV) of 600,000 units.

The company is planning to launch 2 upcoming all-new model launches this year.

“We started 2022 on the back of the strong momentum gained from the launch of the All-New City Hatchback in December 2021.

This model raised the benchmark in B-hatchback segment, offering advanced technology namely e: HEV, Honda SENSING and Honda CONNECT.” said managing director and chief executive officer of Honda Malaysia, Ms. Madoka Chujo.

“We set a new benchmark for the C-segment by offering VTEC Turbocharged and Honda SENSING as standard features for all variants.” she added.

In future, the company is onlook to expand its RS e: HEV model that has excellent fuel economy and low carbon emissions. The e: HEV technology was introduced in the City and All-New City Hatchback.

Apart from that, Next Generation Advanced Technology such as VTEC Turbocharged, Honda SENSING and Honda CONNECT will be fitted to its future models.

Now, Honda Malaysia is starting their Honda Certified Used Car business to offer another alternative way in purchasing cars for customers.

As reported, the company collects a sales record of 53,031 units, giving 10.4 percent market share to the TIV.  Its top 3 selling model goes to Honda City, HR-V and CR-V.
