PEUGEOT’s Electric Van - Zero Noise, Zero vibration, Zero Emissions And Zero Odour!
The Peugeot brand is taking the electric revolution to the next level by offering the new PEUGEOT e-EXPERT; a 100 percent electric vans range. The van is built with 100 percent of the functionality of conventional diesel versions but generates zero noise, zero vibration, zero emissions and zero odour!
Being one of the very first in the market, this complete range of 100% electric vans marks a bold move by the France carmaker to be the leader in sales of clean vans in Europe by 2022.
When current social trends are calling for more and more commercial cars in metropolitan areas, the goal is to provide professionals with a new level of peace of mind while reducing pollution.
The new PEUGEOT e-EXPERT comes with a choice of 2 batteries of 50 and 75 kWh and two range levels offering up to 330 km in the WLTP homologation cycle3 lengths (Compact, Standard and Long), a towing capacity of 1000 kg and a payload of 1275 kgs loading volume identical to that of the combustion version (6.6m³).
This electric vehicle is based on the EMP2 (Efficient Modular Platform) multi-energy platform. It offers a 100% electric engine with a maximum power of 100 kW (136 hp) and a maximum torque of 260 Nm available from the start.
The demand for this electric van is crazy, with 10,000 vehicles are already in the order book. Not to mention, PEUGEOT will have 4,000 electric utility vehicles delivered in Europe by 2021.
It doesn’t stop there as PEUGEOT will also launch production of its first fuel cell electric van, known as the e-EXPERT HYDROGEN, before the end of the year.
