Persona Energy And Yayasan Peneraju Established A MoU For A Technology Transfer Apprenticeship Program (TTAP)
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Persona Energy Sdn Bhd (Persona) and Yayasan Peneraju Pendidikan Bumiputera (Yayasan Peneraju) to construct a Technology Transfer Apprenticeship Program (TTAP).
The MoU was signed by Jazeman Jaafar, a Malaysian racing driver and Executive Director of Persona, and Kol. Bersekutu (PA) Ts. Dr. Muhammad Muzammil Ismail, CEO of Yayasan Peneraju, at the Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC).
TTAP's human capital development programme includes direct exposure to skilled racing engineers through affiliations to experienced race engineers in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) with a leading motorsport known as JOTA.
The TTAP programme, according to Ts. Dr. Muhammad Muzammil Ismail, is designed to provide experiential and practical learning to accelerate the path to self-advancement, as well as hands-on learning on management aspects of motorsports to allow participants to participate in real-world industry scenarios.
This programme will polish and build abilities and knowledge of participants in motorsports and high-performance engineering through a combination of teaching and motorsports attachment, thanks to the collaboration of Persona and Yayasan Peneraju.
“From this programme, our intent is to ensure our engineers are ready to further their careers locally and internationally. With the high technology development in motorsports , this will enable us to capitalize on the technology transfer which will enhance developments for the local automative and motorsport industry”, said Jazeman Jaafar.
