GWM Expanding in New Energy & Advanced Technology Sector
Great Motor Wall (GWM) released its 2021 Annual Report highlighting an amount of CNY 9.07 billion is funded for its R&D company’s investments, a hike of 76.05 percent from 2020 budget.
In the next five years, the company will expand the global research and development staff to 30,000 and the total investment would reach CNY 100 billion.

The company introduced new hybrid solution called L.E.M.O.N. DHT.
What is L.E.M.O.N. DHT?
- It is a highly integrated and efficient hybrid system
- Can be equipped in both HEV and PHEV power architecture
- Models equipped with HEV power can be improved by more than 50 %
- Fuel saving rate are measured at 35 % to 50 %
Take HAVAL JOLION as an example which is using L.E.M.O.N. DHT system.
- its fuel consumption can be adjusted to maximize fuel efficiency in STANDARD, SPORTS and ECO driving modes
- applicable including urban roads, express ways, and other driving conditions.
GWM Intelligence Sector.
The company launched Coffee Intelligence 2.0.
What is Coffee Intelligence 2.0?
- electronic and electrical architecture and intelligent drive-by-wire chassis
what are the functions?
- To upgrade the intelligent driving technology and developed the NOH (Navigation On HIPilot) intelligence-assisted driving navigation system.

How it works?
- once the system turns on, the vehicle can automatically assist the driver in lane changing, overtaking and other actions in the driving process
- to monitor whether the driver is fatigued, unable to concentrate or in other conditions, reflecting the user-oriented design of the system.
Over the past years, GWM continues to carry out precise investments in both new energy and intelligent sectors and keep launching various advanced technologies to the markets.
