A new interchange in Nilai is set to begin construction next year, aiming to ease heavy traffic from Senawang to Kuala Lumpur.
Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun said the project, <a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.carz.com.my/ms/2025/11/kesesakan-dari-senawang-kl-bakal-selesai-tidak-lama-lagi" target="_blank">connecting the PLUS Highway to the Nilai-Labu-Enstek (NLE) route</a>, was approved under the Malaysia Vision Valley plan and will be fully funded by the Federal Government.

Aminuddin, who is also Port Dickson MP, said the project will not only smoothen daily commutes but also spur growth in nearby areas like Labu and Enstek.

Malaysia and China are in talks to set up a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to lead a new Railway Industry Empowerment Programme <a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.carz.com.my/2025/08/ets3-kuala-lumpurkluang-set-to-roll-out-on-aug-30" target="_blank" style="">involving the leasing of passenger trains.</a> The Transport Ministry said both governments signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on April 16 <a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.carz.com.my/2025/11/rts-link-65-complete-first-train-arriving-this-month" target="_blank" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; white-space-collapse: preserve;">to boost cooperation in the railway sector. </a> <span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;white-space:pre-wrap;">The programme will be carried out under a government-to-government (G2G) arrangement, with the SPV managing its implementation.

“The government has, in principle, agreed to implement the Railway Industry Empowerment Programme through the leasing of passenger trains under a G2G arrangement between the government of Malaysia and the government of the People’s Republic of China,” the ministry said in a written reply in Parliament on Nov 5. It added that the <a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.carz.com.my/2025/04/malaysia-is-ready-for-pan-asian-railway-network-loke" target="_blank" style="">SPV will be structured so that a Malaysian government-owned company holds 51% of the shares.</a>

 Wan Agyl noted that while the rule requiring express buses to operate only from terminals like TBS was designed to ease congestion, it has become impractical for today’s travellers. “TBS is 13 kilometres from the city core, and passengers often spend nearly an hour getting to KLCC or Bukit Bintang,” he said, calling for trained marshals and designated loading zones instead of blanket bans.Public transport advocate Ajit Johl shared similar views, warning that TBS is already near capacity.

This is in accordance with the BUDI MADANI RON95 (BUDI95) subsidy programme.<span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;white-space:pre-wrap;">For the unsubsidised RON95 (Non-Malaysian), the price maintains at RM2.60 per litre after reverting back to the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM) formula.<img src="https://static-content-live.caricarz.com/media_library/post/20246/16294882/Text-2---Fuel-Update---BUDI95.jpeg" style="width: 100%;" data-media-id="16294882" alt="Text-2---Fuel-Update---BUDI95.jpeg"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;white-space:pre-wrap;">Premium RON97 sees no changes. The price is set at RM3.20 per litre.<span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;white-space:pre-wrap;">Diesel increases by 7 cents, setting its retail prices in Peninsular Malaysia at RM3.02 per litre (Euro 5 B10/B20) and RM3.22 per litre (Euro 5 B7).<span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;white-space:pre-wrap;">Rates for diesel in East Malaysia remains at RM2.15 per litre (Euro 5 B10/B20) and RM2.35 per litre (Euro 5 B7).<span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;white-space:pre-wrap;">That said, these prices take effect from midnight tonight, until the next price announcement from the Ministry next Wednesday, 12 November, 2025.<img src="https://static-content-live.caricarz.com/media_library/post/20246/16294883/Text-1---Fuel-Update---Petrol-Pump.jpg" style="width: 100%;" data-media-id="16294883" alt="Text-1---Fuel-Update---Petrol-Pump.jpg">

The government is holding off on removing RON95 fuel subsidies for Malaysia’s top 15 percent income group (T15) until <a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.carz.com.my/2025/11/budi95-fuel-quota-for-e-hailing-drivers-raised-to-800-litres" target="_blank" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; white-space-collapse: preserve;">the BUDI95 system </a>is fully stable and ready to handle it, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.“If there is a need in the future, when the system is more robust, then we can impose it for those with truly high incomes or who own luxury vehicles,” he told Parliament when asked why the T15 group is still included under <a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.carz.com.my/2025/11/budi95-only-06-max-out-quota-govt-flags-unusual-purchase-near-border" target="_blank" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; white-space-collapse: preserve;">the BUDI95 targeted subsidy programme.</a> <img src="https://static-content-live.caricarz.com/media_library/post/20240/16293606/MyKad-Licence-Budi95-issues-(1)-full_normal-(3).jpg" style="width: 100%;" data-media-id="16293606" alt="MyKad-Licence-Budi95-issues-(1)-full_normal-(3).jpg"> 

Anwar explained that while the government initially considered setting the income threshold at RM13,000 or RM20,000 a month, it decided against it as <a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.carz.com.my/2025/10/budi95-fuel-shortfall-claims-untrue-kpdn" target="_blank" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; white-space-collapse: preserve;">the cut-off would still affect many middle-income families. </a>“We therefore propose raising the threshold to around RM50,000 per month, but the number of people affected under that threshold is very small,” he said, adding that enforcement would also be costly and complex. <img src="https://static-content-live.caricarz.com/media_library/post/20240/16293607/Budi95-RON95-Tested-Caricarz-(14)-full_normal-(2).jpg" style="width: 100%;" data-media-id="16293607" alt="Budi95-RON95-Tested-Caricarz-(14)-full_normal-(2).jpg"> 

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister announced that <a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.carz.com.my/2025/10/govt-denies-rumours-of-budi95-quota-cut" target="_blank" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; white-space-collapse: preserve;">the monthly RON95 quota for e-hailing drivers has been increased from 600 to 800 litres following feedback that the current limit was insufficient.</a>“If they truly have records and needs, then the government agrees to increase the eligibility limit for BUDI95 for e-hailing drivers to 800 litres per month,” he noted.

Removal of RON95 subsidies for the T15 income group will wait until the BUDI95 system is stable.
