Malaysians Have One Month To Bring Stranded Vehicles Back From Thailand – No Charges Imposed From June 1 to 30
Malaysians with vehicles stranded in Thailand due to international restrictions imposed by Covid-19 can now bring back their vehicles free of charge for a month, from June 1 to June 30.
Vehicles can be brought back through the border gate at the Immigration, Customs, Quarantine and Security Complex (ICQS), Rantau Panjang, according to Rantau Panjang Member of Parliament Datuk Siti Zailah Mohd Yusoff.
"This matter was recently agreed upon in a meeting with 13 agencies involved, in preparation for the opening of the international border between Malaysia and Thailand in Kelantan on June 1."
"As a result, Malaysians cannot bring vehicles or be stranded in Thailand during the Movement Control Order (PKP), which will be in effect for one month beginning June 1," she explained.
"We have received complaints about this matter because they must bear the rate of charges”
"Please act immediately because the charges will resume after the period expires," she added.
