The wait is over, Ford’s sole distributor in Malaysia, Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC) is officially launching the next-generation Ford Ranger Raptor.

Happening this 7 to 9 October 2022, the public launch will take place at the Baja track on the fringe of the Sepang International Circuit (SIC).

It is open to all Malaysians, and to get exclusive invitations, registrations can be made via the SDAC-Ford Malaysia website. Limited spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Notably, those with the invitations will be amongst the first in Malaysia to witness the raw power of the next-gen Ranger Raptor live in action.

They will also have the chance to get intimate with the vehicle through a guided walk-around as well as a test drive around an allocated track.

Additionally, Ford’s recently launched next-gen vehicles, the next-gen Ranger line-up and the next-gen Everest range, will also be on display and available for test drives during the event.

That said, developed with Ford’s Performance DNA, the Ranger Raptor sets the benchmark as Asia Pacific’s only purpose-built high-speed off-road performance pickup.

It is again raising the performance bar, merging mechanical and technical precision with a range of smart technologies to conquer all terrains.

Sime Darby Auto ConneXion’s managing director, Turse Zuhair, remarked, “With its significantly enhanced performance, modern technologies and best-in-class capabilities, the next-gen Ranger Raptor is the definitive king of pickups. Bolder, faster and edgier, this is the ultimate lifestyle enabler for customers to work hard and play harder. Yet safe and comfortable enough with an upscale and roomy interior for family.”
