Ron97 Is Down By 5-Cents From 28 September to 5 October 2022
The latest fuel price update for this week was announced yesterday and there has been a 5-cents reduction in the retail price of the RON97 fuel grade bringing it down to a flat RM4.
Meanwhile there has been no change in price for RON95 petrol and Diesel which are priced at RM2.05 and RM2.15 respectively.
The Finance Ministry who made the announcement further added that the Government would maintain the ceiling price of RON95 at RM2.05 per litre and diesel at RM2.15 per litre, even though the actual market price has gone beyond the current ceiling price.
The ministry would continue to monitor the global crude oil market and take measures as it sees fit inorder to maintain the welfare and well-being of the “rakyat”.
