RON97 & Diesel Up 3 Cents, Effective 2 Jan 2025

The Ministry of Finance (MoF) has announced the retail prices of all fuels in Malaysia, for the coming week of 2 to 8 Jan 2025, the rates are as such.
- Regular RON95 maintains its ceiling price of MYR 2.05 per litre, which was set by the government in February 2021.
- Premium RON97 is up MYR0.03. The price now is MYR 3.28 per litre.
- Diesel prices up MYR0.03 setting its retail price in Peninsular Malaysia at MYR 2.98 per litre (Euro 5 B10/B20) and MYR 3.15 per litre (Euro 5 B7).
- Retail price for diesel in East Malaysia remains at MYR 2.15 per litre (Euro 5 B10/B20) and MYR 2.35 per litre (Euro 5 B7).
That said, these prices take effect from midnight tonight, until the next price announcement from the Ministry next Wednesday, 8 Jan 2025.
